Can I join during the school year? 年度途中の入校はできますか？

Answer

Yes. We accept student enrollments all year as long as our student/teacher ratio data remains within licensing regulations. はい。クラスのお子様の人数と保育士・スタッフの人数が規定の条件を満たしていれば、年度途中の入校は可能です。

Do you have a bus service?　送迎バスはありますか？

Answer

Yes we do! We have a free shuttle service for students enrolled in our 9am - 3pm course. *Conditions Apply はい！送迎バスは、プリスクールのお子様に利用いただけます。クラスの参加時間やお住まいの場所にもよりますのでご相談ください。

Do you provide school lunch?　給食はありますか？

Answer

Yes! We have a lunch supplier who specializes in providing healthy, nutritious menus that are free from nuts, flour, milk and eggs. All children 12 months of age and up are required to have school lunch unless they suffer from an allergy or have dietary restrictions due to religious beliefs. はい！お子様向けの給食の業者さんから毎日配送されます。給食はナッツ、小麦粉、牛乳、卵を使用していません。基本的に12ヶ月以上のお子様は給食を注文いただくようお願いしております。アレルギーのあるお子様や宗教上の理由で給食がだべられないお子様はお弁当をお持ちいただきます。

Does my child have to be toilet trained by 3 years old?　3歳までにトイレトレーニングは完了していないといけませんか？

Answer

No. Each child is ready at their own pace. We will happily discuss this with prospective parents during your initial school visit. いいえ。お子様それぞれのペースがあります。お子様の様子やご家庭のご意向を伺いながらサポートしていきます。

Are you teachers qualified?　先生は資格を持っていますか？

Answer

Absolutely. Early Childhood Education is the foundation of your child's educational journey and should be facilitated by trained educators with learning foundation knowledge. もちろんです。幼児教育は、お子様の教育の基礎です。そして基礎学習の知識をもち、訓練を受けた教育者によって促進されるべきだと考えております。

What is your teacher turnover?　先生の入れ替わりは多くありますか？

Answer

Our teacher turnover is very limited. Usually our teachers take leave to expand their own families and then return to work along with their new little loved one. We hire long term Japan residents who are settled and stable in the local community. 入れ替わりは頻繁にはありません。先生は、ご家庭のライフステージの変化などで一時的に長期のお休みをとり、また戻ってこられることが多いです。また、日本に長く住み、この地域で安定した暮らしをしている方のみ採用しています。

Do you have an outside playground or park nearby?　園庭はありますか？近くに公園はありますか？

Answer

We have a small area in front of our school that we use to extend our learning classroom. This area is part of our extension plans and will be finished by the end of 2020. The children enjoy painting, chalk drawing, gardening and outside pretend play. We have 3 parks also within close walking distance however due to CV-19, our children are not permitted on public jungle gyms, swings or slides due to our inability to disinfect the entire playground beforehand. 園庭はありませんが、2020年の間に当校クラスルームの前の屋外スペースを、一つのクラスルームとして利用できるよう計画しています。そこでは、絵具遊び・チョークでお絵描き・ガーデニング・模倣遊びなどの活動を行います。また、お子様の徒歩圏内に３箇所の公園があります。通常ですと毎日公園で屋外遊びをしていますが、コロナ禍の今、ジャングルジム・ブランコ・滑り台などの大型遊具の消毒は非常に困難なため、公園遊びを中止しています。

Do you offer discounts or scholarships?　割引や奨学金はありますか？

Answer

We have 3 Campaigns. キャンペーンが３つあります。 1. Introduction Campaign - Rewards you for introducing friends and family. The more people you introduce who join our community, the more discount you will recieve. If you have been introduced by a PPI Member, you will also receive a welcome discount. 1.紹介キャンペーンご家族やご友人を紹介いただくと割引の特典があります。紹介した人された人両方に割引の特典があります。また紹介いただく人数に制限はありません。 2. Long Term Resident Discount - Provides a 10% discount on tuition for member families who have resided in Japan for more than 5 years. 2.長期滞在者割引日本に5年以上滞在している家族を対象に、授業料を10％割引します。 3. Paperwork Assistance - For those families that qualify for government subsidy. *Conditions Apply for all Campaigns. 3.書類作成サポート国の補助金申請などの書類記入等のサポートをします。
