Summer School Fun is about to start. Here is your one stop information page for everything you need to know including: What to Bring, What to Wear, Arrival / Departure / ASC Information, Lunch Information, Kids Diary App & Post, CV-19 Regulations, Cancellation / Absence and How to Contact during School Hours.
What to Bring: ๐ Water Bottle ๐ Amazing Summer Hat (Optional) A school hat will be provided otherwise.
๐ Hand Towel ๐ Room Shoes ๐ Morning Snack (Must be Fruit or Vegetable - Prepared and Cut into 1/2 Grape Size) ๐ Cutlery Set, Ice Pack, Zippered Bento Bag (no strings please)
๐ Spare Set of Clothing (Including a PPI Shirt, shorts, diapers/underwear) - Order Form HERE!
๐ Onsen Size Towel / Bag for Wet Clothing
๐ Swim Diapers if your child wears diapers.
๐ Spare Masks
๐ Backpack
๐ Health Insurance Cards (Inside a Ziplock placed in Front Pocket of School Bag)

What to Wear: ๐ PPI T-Shirt ๐ Running Shoes (For Outside - No Sandals)
๐ Knee Length Pants or Shorts (No Skirts as PE will be daily)
๐ Mosquito Repellent Applied before School AND
๐ Sunscreen Applied before School (if needed)
Arrival and ASC Information: ๐ Class will open at 9:00am promptly.
๐ Please wait outside until the teacher indicates entry.
๐ Be sure to maintain social distance.
๐ The outside area is not a play zone. Please be vigilant about the supervision and safety of your child. ๐ Any parent wishing early drop-off or late pick-up can apply directly to PPI via email (admissions@ppiinternationalschool.com).
๐ School Release time is 13:00 promptly.
๐Any child not collected at this time will automatically be logged in as After School Care and charged accordingly. ASC Fees: ยฅ1,000 / Hr + tax (Charged / 15 minutes)๐
๐ Before and After School Care IS AVAILABLE on the following dates; 7/25, 7/26, 7/27, 7/28, 8/1, 8/2 & 8/3. Please contact PPI via studentservices@ppiinternationalschool.com to reserve your ASC if you'd like extended care. Please advise the dates and times you'd like to extend till in your email.
Lunch Information:
๐ All food is made fresh and delivered to PPI in Restaurant Quality Food Storage.
๐ Children are encouraged to try and eat a variety of their lunch.
๐ Sample Photo will be provided on your child's Kids Diary App.
Daily KD Post: ๐ Pictures and Program Information will be posted daily via our Kids Diary App.
๐ For safety the photos will not be available to download.
๐ For new members, a separate email will be sent with your login details.
CV-19 Information: ๐ Temperature is to be taken before school. 37.5ยฐC and over is reason for absence.
๐ Masks will be worn by all children over 3yrs old but not during PE, outside play or lunch.
๐ Be sure to maintain social distance while outside Playpourri Premises.
๐ Illness including runny nose, cough, sneezing is reason for absence as per Nagoya City Regulations and Playpourri Policy.
๐ Illness of Family Members, including common cold, is reason for absence as per Nagoya City Regulations.
๐ Any child showing symptoms will be sent home for safety and precaution of all our students, their families and staff.
Cancellation / Absence: ๐ If your child will be absent, please send an email to the PPI Office by 8:30am or use the handy ABSENCE feature on your child's Kids Diary App.
๐ There is no refund for absence.
๐ There is no rescheduling for absence.

Perfect for use at school and home, especially during the summer months.
A cap or other sun protection is absolutely fine as well for soccer. Keep in mind the children get very hot and sweaty. The needs to be able to offer protection and breathe as well.
